About me

When I’m not procrastinating my life away looking at the internet, watching 80’s movies, reading old Sweet Valley High books, all the YA fiction books, listening to old Bryan Adams & Whitesnake albums or pinning 80’s kitchens to Pinterest or doing my day job, I’m super busy writing a novel. It’s about time travel & the 1980’s. I love time travel, that desire we all have to go back and start again or to be a part of something amazing from history like being an extra in the roller skating scene at the end of Xanadu, because if you had a time machine, where could you possibly go in all of time and space that would be more fun than this?

But time moves forward and we age in the process. I hope I don’t age too much before my novel is finished. I want to be able to rock an 80’s prom dress at my movie première.

I’ve done a bunch of other writing stuff like travel articles for magazines, theatre reviews, a tween fiction book about kids who go to a performing arts school, a Sweet Valley High blog that got one follower and in the early 2000’s I wrote some angsty songs with 3 guitar chords. Hopefully this  novel turns out a hell of a lot better than those songs were.

  1. Nice to meet you! I am currently reading a series titled ‘Out of Time’ by Monique Martin it’s a six book series on time travel, it’s a great series I am on the last of 6 books.

  2. Hi! I was just wondering if your book was published yet and what the name of it was. I search this website(which by the way is totally awesome!) and couldn’t really find anything except that you finished it. Unfortunatly not a lot of people write 80’s time travel books, so I’m eager to read yours :).

  3. Thanks for following The Immortal Jukebox. I hope you are finding lots to entertain you and maybe making some discoveries. If you haven’t visited for a while check it out again. Please feel free to add comments. Good luck with all your projects. Regards Thom.
